Our modifiable pikler is the perfect free play item that encourages the development of gross motor skills, balance control, courage and much more. It is designed according to Pikler, Waldorf toys and Montessori furniture or montessori triangle principles.
It can be used in several different modifications and is also convenient for storage and transportation in a compact folded form.
Our climbing toy has been tested by adults and easily holds a load of more than 100 kg, however, for reasonable safety, we recommend using it with a maximum load of 50 kg.
Each section measures at 55cm tall and approx 75cm wide.
Special joins allow it to be set up at different angles which are then secured with a hex bolt for extra security. It does help to have two people during set up but it’s not necessary!
Each item is handmade so slight variations may occur.
Both the sides and rungs are made from hardwood.
Spacing between rings is approximately 80mm in-line with safety standards.

These can be used outside but should be brought back in out of the weather when not in use or the risk of swelling and cracking is possible. Alternatively we recommend choosing the sealed option to prevent this.
They should always be used under supervision and on a flat surface.
They have been tested by adults but we would suggest a limit of 50kg.

What is the difference between raw and all natural pikler?
the raw pikler is made in with a laminated beechwood panel which contains glue and the all natural pikler is made with hardwood containing no glue which is the best option for vegans
